Olav Wagenaar 

Olav Wagenaar is a clinical neuropsychologist, and a PhD candidate at the Department of Translational Neuroscience, University of Antwerp.

He has a longstanding clinical and scientific interest in the relationship between cognition, hearing, and behaviour, with a particular focus on tinnitus, hearing-related distress, and the neuropsychological mechanisms behind symptom perception.

Alongside his research, Olav is passionate about translating scientific knowledge into practical support for people living with tinnitus.

In addition to his scientific publications, he is the author of Eerste Hulp Bij Oorsuizen and has developed a range of accessible psychoeducational and digital self-help tools.
