Allart Knoop is an audiologist at Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, where he works with patients who have complex hearing loss, including severe hearing loss and conductive or mixed hearing loss following ear surgery. He specialises in real ear measurement (REM) and the fitting of hearing aids for these complex cases.
Alongside his clinical work, Allart runs Kristal Hooradvies, a training practice for audiologists and hearing care professionals, where he provides individual, tailor-made training. His training has a strong focus on the measurability and effectiveness of hearing aid fittings, helping clinicians apply these principles in everyday practice.
