Biography
Kristin Aabø is an optometrist currently working at Specsavers Tønsberg. Kristin graduated from Høgskolen in Buskerud (HIBU) 28 years ago and, in 2001/2002, she proceeded to do her master’s in optometry at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. In 2007, she did a course/part of a Master’s degree in Pediatric Optometry and Orthoptics at HIBU.
Before joining Specsavers four years ago, Kristin spent nine years working in a private practice followed by 16 years at the eye department at Sykehuset i Vestfold. During this time, she primarily examined children aged 0-8 years, as well as patients with strabismus, amblyopia, accommodative problems, various developmentally disabled patients, AMD, and pre- and post-op cataracts.
During Clinical Conference 2023 Kristin participated as a speaker in a masterclass.
