Nayyirih de Koning-Tahzib

Dr. Nayyirih de Koning-Tahzib is an ophthalmologist and corneal surgeon at Xpert Clinics in the Netherlands. Her clinical expertise includes corneal disease, keratoconus, corneal crosslinking, corneal transplantation (DMEK), cataract surgery, premium IOLs, and refractive laser procedures.

After completing her ophthalmology residency and cornea fellowship at Maastricht University Medical Center, she earned a PhD from Maastricht University, focusing on visual outcomes and patient satisfaction following corneal and refractive surgery. Alongside her clinical work, she remains actively involved in education and clinical innovation, helping bring new knowledge into everyday ophthalmic practice.
